Hello Readers! (If I even have any right now, lol)

I apologize for it taking me awhile to post something new.  Anyway, today I have my favorite nail polish from OPI's Mariah Carey collection.

Stay The Night is a black polish with small pink glitters.  It is a liquid sand polish, which is OPI's newest innovative texture polish.  The texture is gritty, sandy, and beautiful. I had no problems wearing this polish, it did not catch onto any of my clothing or cause any problems.  It lasted far longer than any other polish I've ever worn. You may notice the minor tip wear on my middle finger, I took this picture on the third day of wear.

This was three coats and the application was extremely easy. I did notice that on the second day the pink glitters began to fade and become silver. It wasn't too noticeable though.  It does take longer to dry than an average polish.  Removal was easier than glitter but not as easy as a creme.  Overall, I am in love with liquid sand and can't wait to wear more of them. What do you guys think?

Introducing 'The Polish Geek'

Hello to the nail polish community! This is my first post on my blog and I am very excited to get started.  I am new to this blogging thing but I am far from being a newbie when it comes to having a nail polish addiction.  Let me tell you a little bit about myself and my nail polish addiction.

My name is Alexis and I am a 19 year old college student. I live at home with my mom in sweet home Alabama.  I developed a nail polish addiction in late 2009/ early 2010.  I remember my mom buying me my first salon quality brand nail polish, it was OPI's 'Lucky Lucky Lavender.'  That is the color that started it all, I became obsessed with nail colors and especially with OPI.

I purchased more of their colors and fell in love with the formula and the wide range of colors.  Before discovering OPI,  I was the typical girl who wore pink and red nail polish all the time.  I did not know that women wore colors such as Blue and Green.  It took me a while to discover that there were more quality brands out there besides OPI, but better late than never I say.  I discovered brands such as China Glaze, Essie, Wet n Wild, Pure Ice, and many more.

Now I am on to my latest venture which is blogging about something I have a passion for.  I am excited to begin blogging and hope that you all will follow me on this colorful ride.
